Bobby’s responsibilities as Investment Officer at Vesta Equity include the sourcing, negotiating, structuring and closing of principal investment opportunities. Additionally, he is responsible for developing new relationships with local real estate operating partners for Vesta’s sponsor equity platform. Prior to joining Vesta in 2010, Bobby worked for Bonaventure Realty Group, an Arlington, VA based multifamily investment company, as project manager where he managed a 356-unit apartment conversion and the major capital expenditures for the company’s Charleston, SC holdings. Prior to Bonaventure, Bobby was the director of business operations for an award-winning Charleston, SC based single family developer. He began his career working for a national homebuilder in Philadelphia.
Bobby received a B.S. in Business Management from Penn State University, where he was a member of the men’s lacrosse team, and a MS in Real Estate Finance from The University of Florida, where he was a member of his class’ executive committee. Bobby is an active member of the Bergstrom Council at the Bergstrom Center for Real Estate Studies at The University of Florida, along with other industry organizations, including REIC and ULI.
